RACCOONS IN THE NEWS: They Got a Union Job

In a construction zone, don’t try to use a coonskin cap in place of a proper hard hat.

Construction on a new apartment building in Seattle was temporarily put on hold this week due to the presence of some squatters on the site.  A couple of raccoons decided the take up their leases early, however since no apartments existed yet they instead moved into the 150 foot crane.  Traps were set up to lure the raccoons out and evict them from the property, but they eventually vacated the premises of their own accord–saying they’d give the apartment a bad review on Yelp–and construction resumed.
